Munich Airport or Franz Josef Strauss International Airport is 18 miles north-east of Munich and hosts thousands of travellers each day. It is one of the largest and busiest in the world that offers connections to most domestic airports in Germany, as well as many international airports.

There is also the so-called Visitors Park which offers a great day out for watching the planes take off and provides fascinating insights into the world of the airport.

Suburban railway lines offer connection from Munich International to Munich. Scheduled bus service provides transportation from Munich International to Munich Freising railway station, providing access to regional trains to Nuremberg, Regensburg and Prague.
