The metro is a fast and efficient way to reach different parts of Kiev. The wide metro network consists of three lines: M1 (red line), M2 (blue line), and M3 (green line). There are three interchange stations where the lines intersect.
The trolleybus is convenient to reach any part of Kiev from the early morning till midnight. It’s a slower transport option and perfect for sightseeing. The tram was the dominant public transport mode in Kiev before the metro, but today is used less frequently.
The Kiev funicular connects the city with the ancient city district of Podil. By taking the funicular, you will enjoy the panoramic views of the Dnipro River and explore the historic city.

Borispol airport is located 29 km east of Kiev. There are regular bus lines which operate from the airport to Kiev and other cities, airport taxi service and private Borispol airport transfer.
