Professional and reliable service I contacted City taxis a month before my flight to Venice. I had an ongoing journey and no option to use public transport because of the time of arrival. City taxis confirmed my booking a week before I travelled. They had not been able find a driver available when I first booked, but used the intervening time to source a driver from another company. My plane was delayed but he waited for me and drove me to my hotel. He was very professional and friendly, offering several ideas for activities during my stay. Friendly Driver, but Allow Extra Time for International Arrivals The driver was very friendly and helpful.

My flight arrived about 30 minutes early, but the plane had to wait for a gate, so we were unable to get off the plane for quite a while. In the end, we had to pay an additional £50 waiting fee. In addition, as an international traveler in my case, I had to wait for more than half an hour to clear immigration.

I would recommend arranging for the driver to meet you about two hours after the actual landing time. That was the lesson I learnt from this epxerience.

Worry Free, On Time My Driver Antonio was waiting outside passport area in my van after I landed. Perfect communication. No worries at all. The drive to Varenna was great. Antonio was my driver back, and he met me right at 9:00 am to take me back to the airport from Varenna. Antonio was EXCELLENT!
