Hannover Airport (HAJ), also known as Hannover-Langenhagen, is located 11 km away from the city centre. SunExpress, TUI fly, Condor and Eurowings use the airport as a base for flights to many European cities and leisure destinations.
The suburban train line S5 runs from Hannover Airport to the city. The train operates on a 30 minutes schedule from 03:35 to 01:05. It departs/arrives at Terminal C, and the ride to the city centre is 17 minutes.
Another way to reach the airport is by bus. Local bus number 470 departs from a bus stop next to Terminal 3. The bus runs every 15-20 minutes to the Langenhagen Zentrum station. From the station, you can take the Stadtbahn to reach the city centre.
Hannover airport taxis are available in front of the arrivals at Terminal 1 and Terminal 2. Taxis use either the exit on motorway A352 or local roads to reach the city centre.
