Great service and a very nice vehicle. The driver was very nice and the Mercedes vehicle was immaculate and very comfortable. Using WhatsApp to communicate was excellent and meant we had no worries about whether the car was coming or not, even though the pick-up was after midnight.

Baltimore Airport Transfer Service

Baltimore is a beautiful city in Maryland State, considered as a truly authentic American city. It is a popular tourist destination where tourists can learn and experience African American history. Also, Baltimore is an established seaport with a harbour area full of shopping and dining opportunities.

Top attractions

Some of the attractions that you should visit are the Inner Harbor, National Aquarium, Fells Point, Pier 6 Concert Pavilion, Walters Art Museum, and Port Discovery. Baltimore has warm summers and mildly snowy winters. The peak season for visits is from May to September. One of the significant events in Baltimore, attracting thousands of tourists, is the Artscape festival held in July.

Public transportation in Baltimore

Baltimore provides different public transport options, including bus, subway, light rail, water taxi, car rental and Baltimore taxi services. Buses are a safe and cheap way to travel in Baltimore. However, buses are generally not very punctual. A free bus service, Charm City Circulator bus, is available from downtown to some tourist areas.

Light rail is recommended for getting into Baltimore, as many visitors choose to park outside Baltimore and then take the light rail. A single subway line runs through downtown and the northwest suburbs, but it does not cross many of the popular tourist destinations.

Renting a car is another practical way to explore Baltimore, especially if you are heading outside the central neighbourhoods. Parking garages and lots are available in the city centre, near major tourist attractions. You can book Baltimore car rental online or rent a car at Baltimore–Washington International Airport.

In general, the standard Baltimore cab service is one of the safest travel options if you need to keep to a schedule. The water taxi is very popular among tourists. It operates on 15-20 minute intervals and makes stops at the most popular locations.

How to get to the centre of Baltimore

Baltimore Washington Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI), is the primary international airport serving the area of Baltimore and Washington DC. It is around 15km from downtown Baltimore and about 50km from Washington DC. BWI Airport offers several easy modes of transportation to downtown Baltimore and nearby cities, including bus, rail, shuttle bus and metro service, as well as, car rental and Baltimore airport taxi service.

MTA Bus 75, MDOT MTA bus 107, as well as MTA ICC bus route 201 run from Baltimore Washington International to different locations in Baltimore. Buses depart from BWI airport every hour, on weekdays and weekends/holidays. MAT Marc train and Amtrak shuttle service depart every 6-8 minutes from the airport shuttle stop and terminates in the city centre, just across the rail station.

Light rail is also available from BWI Airport to the Baltimore city centre and other locations such as the Hunt Valley and Timonium. The light rail station is outside lower Terminal level, next to Concourse E. BWI Express/B30 Metro runs every hour and connects BWI with Greenbelt Metro Station.

Baltimore airport taxi service is another convenient way of getting to and from BWI. The taxi rank is on the lower terminal level, outside baggage claim near doors 5 and 13.
