Antwerp Airport Transfer Service

Antwerp is the capital of the Antwerp province of Flanders and the second-largest in Belgium located on the banks of the river Scheldt. Transportation options in Antwerp

The city offers 13 tram lines and 79 bus lines which provide access to the centre, suburbs and the Left Bank. You can buy your tram or bus ticket in a newsagent's, supermarket, at the vending machines or via an app. Antwerp City Card is a card that you can buy online, which includes the use of public transport in the city. You can choose from the three options available, 24, 48 or 72-hour formula.

If you buy an individual ticket, you can travel for 60 minutes in which you can switch unlimitedly between busses and trams. After the 60 minutes pass you need to get a new ticket.

Taking a taxi in Antwerp is a fast way to get around the city. Hailing a cab on the street can be harder, so it's best to take one from the taxi stands in front of the railway station or the post office.

Antwerpen-Centraal (Antwerp Central) is the name of the main railway station. It offers international trains to Paris and Amsterdam. The national lines go to Ostend, Bruges, Ghent, Hasselt, Brussels, Charleroi, Leuven, Liege, and Turnhout.

Antwerp Port and International Airport

Antwerp Port is the second-busiest port in Europe. It is mainly used by cruise ships and short sea shipping. Since 1 July 2019, waterbus is available from Steenplein square to Kruibeke and Hemiksem.

Antwerp International Airport is a small airport located 5.4 km south of the city. It has one terminal capable of handling up to 300.000 passengers. Currently, there are only two airlines that offer services, Air Antwerp and TUI fly Belgium.

Bus, tram and airport taxi to and from Antwerp International

Antwerpen Berchem railway station is relatively close to Antwerp International, and you can get there by bus (N. 51, 52 and 53). The buses are in front of the bus stop' Deurne Luchthaven' and the travel time is 10 minutes. Trams are also available and depart every 8 minutes. The airport taxi stands are in front of the terminal, and it's a fast way to reach your destination.
