Early Pick-up! The driver was there ahead of schedule which was great. The car was tidy and the driver certainly knew where he was going - he said he had 6 airport runs to do! Consequently he did drive comfortably above the speed limit at doubt thinking about his future pick-ups. The roads were still busy even given the early hour but we thought well the driver must know what he is doing!!

Overall the service was professional and efficient and we were easily able to amend our booking due to last minute changes. Equally on a journey back the driver was on time and helpful at the airport. Would certainly recommend.

Adelaide Airport Transfer Service

Adelaide is a gorgeous city located on the coast of South Australia, and it is one of the largest cities in the country. It has an attractive geographic location among three famous wine regions. Thus, Adelaide offers a plethora of beautiful nature, stylish architecture, various cultural events, as well as superb shopping and dining experiences.

Most popular attractions to visit in Adelaide

Must-see locations in Adelaide include the famous Glenelg beach, the Art Gallery of South Australia, Adelaide Oval stadium hosting sports matches since 1871, the Cleland Conservation Park, Adelaide ZOO, the Adelaide Botanical Garden, and many more. December-January is the peak season for visiting Adelaide’s gorgeous beaches. March (or “Mad March”) is the most popular month due to the Adelaide Festival and the WOMADelaide world-music concert.

Public transportation in the city

In Adelaide, it is easy to get around by public transportation, including bus, tram and train lines. The Adelaide Metro bus system stretches wide across the region, connecting Mclaren Vale in the south, Gawler in the North and Adelaide Hills in the east. A free line (City Loop #99C) is available with multiple routes across major commercial and cultural centres. Buses run every hour in the suburbs, while bus frequency declines significantly after 18:00 for most bus routes. For late-night hours, you may consider taking a taxi.

Tram service is available in Adelaide, as well. The whole journey takes around 30 minutes, and the tram stops at Adelaide Railway Station, Victoria Square and Rundle Mall. As for the Adelaide Metro Train system, four lines are available (Gawler Line, Outer Harbor Line, Seaford Line and Belair Line) with stations located close to some of the major shopping centres.

Rent a car is another practical way to explore Adelaide, especially if travelling to the suburbs. The car rental service can be booked online or at Adelaide Airport (ADL). Adelaide taxi service is a convenient way to get around the city. Taxi stands are available near major hotels and attractions, or you can always hail a taxi or order one by phone.

Transportation options from Adelaide Airport

Adelaide International Airport (ADL) is one of the few business airports in Australia and is 6 km away from the city centre, near West Beach. Various transportation options are available from and to the Adelaide International, including bus, shuttle bus, car/ride sharing, as well as car rental, taxi service and private airport transfer.

Both JetBus and JetExpress services are available from and to Adelaide International, with pick-up/drop-off at the bus stop located on the left side of the plaza (along with Terminal exit). The JetExpress bus service is a double-decker express service that runs from Adelaide Airport to the city. The JetBus service operates to Adelaide City, West Beach and Glenelg. Airport shuttle service is also available as door-to-door service to hotel and business destinations in Adelaide.

Car rental, ride-sharing, and Adelaide airport taxi services are the other available transportation options. Car rental desk is on the ground level of the terminal, while the rent a car parking space is in the multi-level car park on the ground level. You can easily find the taxi rank as you leave the Terminal, on the left side of the pedestrian plaza.
