It is significantly more prominent than the first one and consists of 38 check-in desks and seven air-bridges.

There is only one terminal which was completed and opened in 2013. The terminal has 31 check-in counters and eight departure gates.

From the facilities, the terminal offers shops, restaurants, baggage wrapping service and duty-free. You can get around by public transport that includes buses, minibuses and taxis. The ticket prices depend on the distance to your destination.

Varna Airport in another famous airport during the summer season, because it is near the Golden Sands, Varna and the town of Dobrich. It has one functional terminal which has a capacity of handling 1.8 million passengers. Some of the airlines that offer regular flights are Lufthansa, Bulgaria Air and Austrian Airlines.

Plovdiv Airport serves the ski resorts that are near the town of Plovdiv like Bansko, Borovets, Pleven, Sandanski and Vratsa. It has one terminal with ten check-in desks and three gates.
