Public transportation in Pisa

As Pisa is a relatively small city, it is easy to reach your destination on foot or bus. The bus is the only public transport option in the city, and buses depart from the small bus station in front of the train station.

Pisa has two rail stations: Pisa Central Station and Pisa San Rossore station. The Thyrrenic line offers transport from Pisa to Naples and Rome, with stops at Genoa and Turin. San Rossore is a smaller station located close to the Leaning Tower and provides transportation from Pisa to Lucca and Pistoia.
